Physical Therapist
Jen Windley is a Physical Therapist and lifelong Delaware resident growing up in Hockessin and now residing with her family in Middletown. She attended McKean High School and then University of Delaware for both her Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and her Master of Physical Therapy degree.
Jen worked for Sun Oil Company as a Chemical Engineer early in her career before becoming interested in returning to school to become a Physical Therapist. Her experience as an athlete with an injury that benefitted from physical therapy to get her back to sports quickly was the catalyst to her interest. Jen attended University of Delaware’s 2nd nationally ranked physical therapy graduate program. During her time at UD, she completed a specialty group of internships focused on gait where she worked in multiple nationally recognized facilities to develop her expertise. Since graduation, Jen has worked in multiple out-patient sports and orthopedics physical therapy facilities. Her focus on gait and the lower extremity continued to grow over time.
Jen and her husband, Tom, are both native Delawarean PTs and “Double Dels” who graduated from University of Delaware’s Master of Physical Therapy program together. Tom is the Co-founder and CEO of Local PT. The Windleys live in Middletown, Delaware where they have raised their three children. Jen’s loves to run, row, cheer on all the Philadelphia sports teams, and spend time with her family at the beach. She loves to watch her three children play all the sports they love.
