Kiefer Gooch is a Local PT Partner, Director of the Dover Local PT Clinic, and a Physical Therapist in the same clinic. He has served central Delaware as a Physical Therapist since 2015. A proud local, and lifelong resident, Kiefer grew up in and currently lives in nearby Magnolia. He attended Caesar Rodney School District from K-12 before earning his Athletic Training and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from the University of Delaware, the 2nd ranked Physical Therapy Graduate Program in the country.

With a strong background in athletic training, Kiefer specializes in sports rehabilitation with a history of summer internships with NFL teams, including the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Commanders. Kiefer brings this valuable experience to his practice every day to help local athletes recover from injuries and maximize their performance.

Kiefer is a Board-Certified Sports Specialist and is trained in dry needling and hands-on techniques that help him provide effective pain relief and enhanced recovery.

Kiefer treats a wide range of patient diagnoses including sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, vestibular issues, post-concussions, auto and work-related injuries. He believes in a personalized and open-minded approach, crafting treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of his patients.

Kiefer and his wife Allison are both native Delawarean PTs and “Double Dels” who graduated from University of Delaware with both degrees together. Kiefer and Allison came back to Kiefer’s native community to raise their young son and enjoy time with their black lab. Kiefer loves to spend time with his family and is always cheering on his beloved Orioles and Eagles. Kiefer is excited to have the opportunity to serve the local community he has always called home.
